The Viper 5 Long Stroke Automatic Double Swing Gate Opener is a heavy-duty Italian-made 24V DC gate automation system designed for larger residential and commercial swing driveway gates. Its powerful linear actuators deliver up to 2000N thrust, providing strong, smooth and quiet operation for gates up to 4.2 metres wide and 300kg each, subject to gate design and installation conditions.
Built for durability, the Viper 5 features an extruded aluminium housing, die-cast internal structure, stainless steel piston, 19mm lead screw and metal transfer gearing. Adjustable and removable mechanical limit stops allow precise open and closed positions without requiring separate gate stops in typical installations.
The system supports both pull-to-open and push-to-open configurations, while the dual-sided manual release provides convenient emergency operation. A supplied 6mm riser plate also provides additional installation flexibility when suitable gate mounting rails are unavailable.
The advanced Premier SW24 controller provides automatic gate learning, pedestrian mode, soft start and slowdown, adjustable automatic closing up to 5 minutes and obstacle detection. It also supports compatible photocells, safety edges, electric or magnetic locks, keypads, intercoms, mobile app control, GSM access and induction loops.
The supplied remote system features Keeloq rolling-code security, supports up to 192 remotes, and provides up to 100 metres of open-air range.
