This 50x100mm rail is extruded from 6063 T5 aluminium with a 2.0mm wall and is punched through the side wall rather than through the face, keeping fixings flush with the profile rather than sitting proud of it, with a choice of Holes Gap spacing to suit different fixing centres (see the option above). This side-punched arrangement suits automatic gate tracks, sliding gate frames and slotting systems where hardware needs to run cleanly along the side of the rail. Supplied in 6.0m lengths in a raw mill finish, it also works as a general slotting rail for fencing and screening runs where side fixing is preferred. Being aluminium, it resists corrosion and needs no ongoing maintenance, even in exposed gate and fencing applications.
